Tri- and duathlete Nicholas Sterghos (West Point, '09) can be seen hoisted above his fellow All-Army team members. The athletes were competing at the 2009 Armed Forces Triathlon in Point Mugu, CA -- Nicholas' first draft legal race.

My first draft legal races was awesome.  I enjoyed the two loop swim, four loop bike, and four loop run in Point Mugu, CA.  Though fun, it was challenging, especially with the ocean wind.  I want to thank the race director and volunteers who helped put on the race for the many military competitors.  I also want to thank Serotta, who helped fit me to my road bike, as well as my other sponsors.

I enjoyed meeting all those who competed on the All-Army team.  Friends for life.  It was also good to see my former West Point teammates like LT Nicholas Dason, who I have not seen for a while since he has been training in flight school at Ft. Rucker, AL.
